2019 marked our 60th Anniversary.

Spitzer Masonry, Inc is a Colorado Springs based, family owned and operated business. Earl A (Jack) Spitzer started the company in 1959. With help from his three sons, Robert, Thomas and Steven, Spitzer Masonry has established a fine reputation in the areas of commercial and residential masonry construction. In fact, in 1998, Spitzer Masonry was recognized by the Partnership for Community Design for their participation in the University Park project.

Many residents of Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas have heard of Spitzer Masonry by word of mouth from their neighbors. They have proudly built and repaired retaining walls, stone and brick patios, fire pits and BBQs. They have helped to transform modest houses into beautiful homes by installing stone and brick veneer on their exteriors and by installing stone and brick on their fireplace faces.

In 2004, Spitzer Masonry received a Preservation Honor Award from the City of Manitou Springs for restoring a historic stone retaining wall surrounding one of the area residences.

Spitzer Masonry has established themselves as reputable masons in the area of historical renovations as well.

In 2004, Spitzer Masonry received the Subcontractor Award from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) for the Cherokee Ranch Entry Sign Relocation project. Other projects worth mentioning include:

-Uintah Street Bridge renovations
-Starsmore Discovery Center
-Manitou Springs historic wall renovations

Recently Spitzer Masonry has transitioned away from large scale projects and have began to focus on bringing their knowledge to small scale projects. With downsizing their projects they have downsized their office as well. The office is now located at Rob Spitzer’s house. All contact information has remained the same.

Spitzer Masonry thanks their many friends and customers who have helped them to accomplish this milestone. They are proud to have served this community the last 60 years, and look forward to providing quality masonry for many years to come.
